March/April 2017 Updates for Joshua Hanna
With the beginning of the 2017 racing season, Joshua Hanna has already completed five races during the months of March and April. To begin his third full season, Josh was able to start strong with his first career top 3 finish (albeit a low car count) on March 18th at Gator Motorplex. Afterwards, the team completed four races in a span of seven days. From April 8th to the 15th, the black #82 visited Gator Motorplex twice, Boyd Raceway, and 281 Speedway. Even though they have never done more than two races in that time span previously, the guys were able to complete all A-Mains unscathed with no major issues during the entire stretch. For a inexperienced bunch, it was a big accomplishment and a great learning experience. With the goal of the week to just complete shows without damage, the team also managed to see some minor successes. In three of the four A-Mains, Josh was able to finish at least 5 spots ahead of where he started. Also, in the inaugural Texas Sprint Series (TSS) event at Boyd Raceway, Josh was able to score his first heat race win of the year against a very competitive field.
The team is currently next scheduled to participate in two shows for the month of May at Abilene Speedway and Gator Motorplex.
